    Hm? It doesn't matter which site is using which database ;) I showed you an example of the behavior of an a tag without a href value. And this is Pagekit's behavior: If there is no matching route for this node, there will be no href value ;)

    I know this, because I had these problems in the backend often when I was working on my first extensions and messed up the admin-menu ;)

    Anyways Locally it is working now, I also changed the Controller to SiteController and moved it in to a Folder/Namesapce Controller.

    And I made the you suggested ofcourse, That made it work locally but not on the Live Site yet since the module it is not uploaded.

    Now I can continue my Store based on GumRoad

    Alright I will change this buy keep in mind that the Live website is using the same Database as the Dev version. But on the live version there is nothing installed, this all is on my local version.

    Alright. Let's debug this :)

    You got an empty <a> tag, because your node does not match a route.

    Please enable debug bar and click on "routes". Do you find @store and which controller is assigned?

    P.S. I moved your topic to the development categories :)

    About Tag:

    <a> tag isn't empt right since it routes to the current route? A <a> tag where the href is empty will not route to the current route.

    Debug:

    @store /store GumController::indexAction

    Controller:

    Hi,

    This is what happen when I click on the link in the Menu from my 'Store' Module

    Hey,

    I tried to force HTTPS myself but it didn't work, after that lookin into the .htaccess I saw they have there own setup for it.

    I enabled it by uncommeting it and I got a error "Too many redirects".

    I commented this:

    Code
    1. # Redirect requests to access the site with HTTPS
    2. # RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
    3. # RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R]

    by the way

    can you guys explain me how to delete the date from every blog post, i just want the name to be displayed

    unfortunately there isnt any option to hide it

    If that is in the Blog Posts Listing you can find it in the template under blog/posts.

    Then you can find it on a line looking like this: <?= __('Written by %name% on %date%', ['%name%' => $this->escape($post->user->name), '%date%' => '<time datetime="'.$post->date->format(\DateTime::ATOM).'" v-cloak>{{ "'.$post->date->format(\DateTime::ATOM).'" | date "longDate" }}</time>' ]) ?>

    You can simply remove Written by %name% onand '%name%' => $this->escape($post->user->name),

    Currently I'm at trainee but as a quick glance at this I see the workaround I will tweak a couple more things for needs but I see this work, Thanks for the amazing help! Ill show my code when Im done so other ppl can use it in-case they want this aswell and I will describe it.

    Credits to you!

    SPQRInc I got home and I directly switched my clothes for my doctor jacket and started to get to work, more info on how I get there and figure out from the point you brought me I will tell in my blog.

    But this is I think the best way I could handle my case for specific a Single Blog Post, Thanks for getting me started on that event that helped me a lot.

    The Event:

    Template.php:

    Code
    1. $view->data["post"]

    Okay - I need to have a look at it. I did not develop a theme before, so it's quite new to me ;)

    Is it possible to get a copy of your work so I can try and debug my attempts?

    Sure Ill PM it to you since it is private. Don't go to the Portfolio that is broken atm.

    So where is template.php stored? You could write an overwrite for that specific view.

    Have a look at https://pagekit.com/docs/devel…me#overwrite-system-views

    template.php is what I use for the page that page needs to get access to the $post variable in order to achieve what I want.

    I tried to do this in SiteController.php by the $view but that messed up everything

    Hello,

    Is there any chance that PageKit gets a PHPDocs for certain things if it does not exists already. ( Couldn't find it )

    Since I would love the have some Docs bout the Variables for theming and more information on Module building and related things to that.

    The current docs are more tutortials then actual PHP Docs for devs so we know wich functions and methods we can use with which parameters.

    Hi,

    When the user visit a Single Post ( blog/post.php ) I want to access the $post data into my template.php So I can do somethings with it. Is there anyway to get access to that data in the template.php

    Hi,

    I think you just have to use the option "Hide title" on the Page edit view.

    Bet, thanks for this information!

    I also find out I can override a system file content in my theme that is how I solved it now, but this is a better solution.

    Dear Community,

    When I know use this in my own Theme to print out the page contents

    <?= $view->render('content') ?>

    an H1 will be printed out to the page that is NOT in my page content. (http://prntscr.com/h4h8h8)

    this is printed from somewhere I cannot find and I want that H1 to not be shown.

    How can I remove that from a custom theme?
