Uikit v3 is still RC. But of course it would be great if you‘d migrate this theme to Pagekt.
Moved to off topic, as the showcase-area is meant for people, who would like to show extensions and themes they created for Pagekit.
Please note: This is a Pagekit community
Hi and thank you for your ideas
I will just quickly response:
homepage -> latest listings sorted by current user location and also sorted by multiple featured categories (eg: facebook marketplace homepage);
Current user location will not be implemented in first version.
automatically get the current user/ guest session location (eg: City based on IP) and display on the homepage and on the entire website listings from the current location;
Will not be implemented in first version.
currency exchange option: display currency based on the current user location (Country);
It will be implemented to choose a currency - but not based on user location in first versions.
related ads on listing page (filtered by current listing location + current listing category);
What do you mean with "Ads"? Third-party ads or just related classifieds?
ability to report (spam, duplicate, inappropriate etc) listing;
Will be implemented.
mark listing as expired;
Will not be implemented in first versions.
Will not be implemented in first versions.
notifications on email for different events like: when someone has started following you, message, new offer, a new listing that matches your saved searches, etc;
It's not a social networking extension. First versions will only allow to create/edit ads and get in contact via contact form.
user settings: ability to set the email notifications (opt in/ out, daily, weekly);
Will be implemented (I guess in version 1.5.0)
ability to upload pdf (eg: curriculum vitae for Job listings) instead of message/ contact button;
Will not be implemented. It's a classifieds extension - what you have in mind is a huge extension with job-board and something like that.
on the listing page: button with the seller phone number widget;
What is a "button with the seller phone number widget"?
cookie consent alert to comply for EU law.
Why? Can be solved with spqr/cookiewarning.
moderate reported listings;
add report types;
Will be implemented
blacklist module: block ip’s, email address, domain, blacklisted usernames, banned words;
Can be done with spqr/security. A jail for this extension will be added.
security: limit the number of the unsuccessful login attempts + set the number of minutes to throttle for;
Can already be done with spqr/security.
Pagekit already provides a maintenance mode...?
default location/ time zone;
Pagekit already allows to to that...?
listing packages: Regular, Top ad, Featured;
Allow users to pay the packages in their country currency;
Payment processor (PayPal, ...) is handling this.
Upload settings: image file types and other file types (pdf, docx, etc);
See above (Upload...)
Enable/ disable cookie consent alert to comply for EU law;
Set the cookie expiration time and the cache expiration time;
Can be done with spqr/cookiewarning already.
delete the inactive/ expired ads: set ad lifetime + send an automatic email to the user before the expiration date.
Try not to use a dev-develop dependency, but a version number.
If you install your extension, check, whether the requirements are being installed correctly.
Did you create your own extension? Please post composer.json.
What kind of “dashboard widget” did you use? What kind of links are you creating using which widget? Which boxes? I really don’t have any idea what you are talking about.
Please be more specific and please provide screenshots - to be honest: Your posts are often vague and that makes it hard to solve your issues.
You are welcome
If you are using Nginx you have to “migrate” the htaccess rules to Nginx.
It’s even described in the official documentation - https://pagekit.com/docs/getti…erver-configuration#nginx
The linked example for Nginx should do the job already:
Maybe an easy answer: Asset‘s node selection works just like the one from widget‘s node selection.
It’s just like the Pagekit core works. Unfortunately it’s only possible to use „sub-pages“ if they are on the same node (e.g. @blog and @blog/id).
Hm - could you please explain that a little more? You have the same tables...? You are free to give them different names
First of all: It's great that you contributed to Pagekit and created an improved blog extension.
But of course, the problem with deleted blog posts is a huge problem, if the users are not warned.
So maybe you'd like to namespace your extension - if you need help, just ask us
Hm - but you could namespace your extension? This should allow to run both extensions simultaneously
Why do I have to remove the old blog?
So if you think your extension is perfectly fine the way it is, fair enough then, just my two cents...
That's still my opinion. If you'd design custom 404 using your webserver's error documents, you would also need to add your own stylesheets.
I don't like the idea of having too much options and things that can easily break. There's one thing I am facing every day in my job: Keep things simple. Build small scripts that work - not large scripts that try to do everything.
So the field is labeled "HTML". So add your HTML (meta, head, body, ...) If I would build some "css crawler" or add the content of the field to a pre-crawled page, this would use many resources and the label (HTML) would be wrong
So I heard your opinion - that's not mine, but of course I'll accept it In this case, your feature request will not be added to the roadmap. In many cases before I did that... So... Sorry
Today I released version 2.0.1, which comes with minor bugfixes:
I also updated the docs: https://spqr.wtf/projects/redirect
You could create an issue in the repo of this extension to update the dependencies and assets.
