UIKit 3 Theme Cards

Hi folks,

well i needed for my last project an updated version of theme cards, so I have decided to port it to uikit 3. You can check the theme out directly from marketplace:

It comes with some nice modifications to easy customize the different card styled for widgets as sites. Blog card style can be changed too, for similar experience as the original template you need to disable the panel style for the blog page, set it to none, and pick your style you wish for the blog panel style.

Any comments as suggestions are welcome, as bug reports of course.

Well that is exactly the problem with uikit 3 ports the most uikit 2 extensions won't work.

Mercator has a plugin for making a gallery really easy and it is working with uikit 3 templates already: https://pagekit.com/marketplace/package/mercator/gallery

For contact forms you could try to use the newer extension from SAB it's in the market place too and it's awesome in compare to the old extension from Bixie. Well you have to write a form with the help of vue and uikit 3 forms component but it's not hard at all. The example on github is already pretty cool.

For Calender extension I don't know any alternative except that you could try to port it to work with uikit 3 too.

P. s. as you mentioned the plugin seems to use the old uikit synatax. In that case you could check the uikit 3 documentation and try to modify the code to the new Syntax by yourself. In most cases it is only a small modification needed.

Modal component for example is now way easier to initialize.
