Gallery SEO Settings / Image Options

  • I would like to know if there are any options or ways to optimize uploaded images for SEO. While I know there is one generic "Meta" for one gallery itself I am concerned how to deal with nameing and labeling my images as I usually have to do for SEO purposes . I am not sure if pagekit can handle this at this time?

    Code
    1. <img src="images/thumbs/optimizedseoname.jpg" alt="optimized seo description" />

That is the way it works in pagekit too! Just try it out if you do set the wrong path to the img file the alt name will be displayed.

  • Huh? If I set the "wrong path"?

Plus: if I upload multiple files - how does it look like and work?

Well if you ant to check out that the Alt parameter for the image works you can just write a one wrong character and you will see in the front end that it will show the alt name of the image instead of the image. This is a default behavior on any content management systems I know.

You can add several image too it works same for any image, but don't forget to turn off the tinymce editor before doing it, in code mirror mode you control the code you wrote not a software that is fine enough for a blog, but still not perfect.
