Hi,
Friday would be better for me, but I‘ll do my best to join
-
Hi all,
as we have to discuss the future format, agenda, objectives of the biweekly pagekit meeting first, we ( SPQRInc Fosphatic Duke Ben) will start with a small kickoff tomorrow. Thus the first hangout won't be public.
In case you are highly engaged in the community and would like to join the kickoff to contribute, just let me know.
Then I will provide the URL to join.
Thanks in advance. The next session (14 days later) will be public and we will provide some details after our kickoff.

And what about the Yoo team?
-
Hi everyone,
Feel free to send me the link once the discussion starts.
-
HI, I'm up for this but maybe we should try and get someone from YT on board every now and then.
I don't want to have a rant at them but just try and understand the status quo.

As far I know Roman wanted to reach one of the officials as he had already some communication with them in the past. Well unfortunately as far I understood in the last session that even the developer chat from pagekit is empty now except few officials from yootheme. Over all a very dissatisfied experience because the logic and interface as performance of pagekit was for me always the biggest plus and the CMS system of my choice.
I guess that many more guys will drop development for this system due to very unkind handling from the officials. Even they put much effort in last several years into this project, actually since one year it is like dead. I hope they will do something soon because I would like to see pagekit in several years still getting updates and everything.

Please do use the other thread for all issues regarding the future of pagekit and the communication policy of YOOtheme.
Let's get back to the hangout.
SPQRInc, Fosphatic Duke and me had an interesting and very promising kick-off last week. This thursday, 5th of July from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. (German time), we will meet for our first public hangout.
We discussed the format in general and had several ideas, e.g.- presentation of third party components and templates
- tutorials to certain topics (e.g. how to template, create extensions, embed UIkit)
- technical issues
- feature / development requests
I assume most of the topics will be suitable both for end users and admins. From now on we search for motivated community members willing to contribute or present.
SPQRInc has agreed to provide a first "surprise" session (max. 30min) to all of us. Please mute yourself during the presentation.
Afterwards we will have some time for discussion and brainstorming: of course you can unmute yourself to ask questions and interact.
Looking forward to all of you:
Best regards from Munich,
Ben
